I think the point that 69Cobra is trying to make is that the 146 mph run can be verified by nothing more than hearsay at this point. The other runs to which you're referring were witnessed by many people and well documented.

I just want to emphasize that I'm not criticizing anyone's viewpoint.

For what it's worth, I think they will ultimately need to be factored, but I don't know if they're 85 HP underrated. Should be interesting at Indy when the Challengers and Cobra Jets line up...if the Chally's are done by then.
