Actually, they did some tests for NHRA last year at several of the races. NHRA was very impressed, and when Sagera (www.1320go.com owners) submitted a proposal NHRA stated they would develop their own system (thank you very much). NHRA has since had significant problems developing their version of "Live Timing", and it has not made a full pass "down the strip" yet.

The owners of 1320go worked hard to develope the concept, as i-card did with their system. Only to have NHRA "shut them out of the business". Some track owners have subscribed to the Sagera system, and are extremely happy with it. The question is will these track owners, NHRA, and Sagera be able to work together when a National, or Divisional Event is held at a track using the Sagera system.

Don @ CrewChiefPro may be able to shed a little more light on the subject.
