Default Re: Another Ford in GT/AA

2.8??? That is good for about 470 inches to 6500 RPM with zero limitations on HP. Gesso Pete, we are more like 2.2 with a 14 degree valve angle and a hundred more cubic inches to do the same thing. Want to know the equation for CSA required to prevent limiting HP?

CSA required* = bore * bore * stroke * RPM/0.00353*(614fps)

*minimum cross sectional area throughout the length of the intake port. For those too lazy to do the math, there are calculators where you can just plug in the numbers required. (If you want to calculate fps numbers that is fine, just remember that it is required that you double measured fps to obtain actual.)
