In or around 1970, there was a new strip built in Omaha just West of town, so close to I-80 that you could almost watch the racing as you drove by on the freeway.

Whas that "Cornhusker"?

Seems like it wasn't in operation for very long at all... maybe 4 or 5 years... ????
