Re: Live from Atco , NJ -- NHRA Lucas Oil Series
Unbelieveable but true -- the Sun is out -- S/C and S/S got their runs in and S/G is on the track as I type....looks as if we're going to get a second run in tonight.....depends on how the alcohol cars do .
This afternoon Tim Bishop showed up with his F-Bomb B/S Firehawk -- nice piece -- he hasn't been seen much lately . Also pictured during S/S is Johnny D ( in red shirt ) up on a perch taking shots in the bleach box .....
Even though it was a four hour delay Joe Sways guys and the NHRA crew scraped from the burnout to the 660' mark --no easy feat for sure ..and boy oh boy did the track have 'teeth' when they were done.....
Almost forgot -- two records set the first leg -- SS/CA -- Oakes -- 9.02 P/S Cokinos 12.36 .
Pudgie -- I'll put your food order in -- wait at your garage door --might be awhile .And I hope you enjoy the last picture in the group . Ya' shoulda' came .........Also pictured is 'Uncle Buck' -- this time awake and preparing one of his masterpieces and finally we see Bucky Hess multi-tasking........wonder who he is talking with ?
