Thanks for the information, so from what I gather then the production class is similar to the GT classes where someone could use a FAB 9 inch rear end in any combo and FWD conversions are ok?
Essentially this is like a crate motor class but for Super Stock? Which means if I had a 1968 Camaro I could run my choice of BBC 427, 454, or 502 through a single 4 barrel (if we ran -1 class) with a powerglide? and then a 9 inch for a rear end if I choose to?
The production classes only exist in IHRA. These car are not legal in the NHRA essentially?
Thanks again,

They are basicly modified style motors with the limitation of the OEM stroke (+.015 allowed). No odd ball bore and stroke combos. Classes for one 4 barrel and one 2 barrel with a restrictor plate. Cubic inch to factory shipping weights. Very similar to the old modified production classes but no multi carb set ups......OK, I fixed the plus .015 wording for the perfectionists on this forum.
