Andrew, some cars will cross over to a SS/Mod Class at NHRA races. SS/PAA-1 = SS/AS or SS/BM, for example. Not sure what would fit what exactly. Although, at an IHRA race several years ago, a racer with a fast SS/BS car claimed SS/PDA-1 once, and an IHRA racer told me it wasn't legal, as SS/Productin has different crank rules and stuff compared to a SS/BM. Might want to check, to be sure a crossover is legal. Also, a SS/PAA-1 (I believe) will have to pull a head for teardown, while a SS/AS, SS/AM is usually just pump-and-go (although I think at one NHRA race they were tearing down some SS/Mod cars. I heard checking bore sizes?). Again, double check with someone.
