[LS3] 426/408 HPft tq [L99] 400/395 cam is different less duration /less lift
[ L99] has cam phaser gives more piston to valve clearance when
cam phasing changes.pistons piston are different w/ valve reliefs
machined

[LS3] 10.7 compression [L99]10.4

[LS3] 420 / 553 @ 4600 [L99] 410 / 535 @ 4300

[LS3] 6600 RPM [L99] 6200

[LS3] 7.6 Qts oil [L99] 8.9

L99 PCV system is different having its oil separators in the valve covers rather than down in the valley like LS3
