Ed, I said the NHRA term Pro Stock. I said nothing derogatory about the drivers ,or even the technical sophistication of the cars. That being said, I'd still rather be watching Mike Edwards race his Maverick in Modified Eliminator.
You brought up SS/GT. Yes, you're right .I would prefer to watch SS cars ,using the same engine they came with from the factory with......not FWD conversions with the 350 SBC combo of the week that's not beat up too bad.
This is the same reason NASCAR lost me years ago.
