Yes it was awesome........I have more than 3 times as much money in the dragster I race today, and I bought the car as a used roller! I won a Lucas Oil Series race in S/C in 2005 in my old "budget" dragster and received less than $2 grand in winnings......Just a little perspective there......

I loved that video of S/G at Gainesville and also the one from the Sportsnationals in '78 in Modified Eliminator. I was with my buddy helping him run a C/SM car back in 1978 a lot.......I was at Gainesville in '84 with Dave Schapiro and we went to rd 5 I really thought we were gonna win that one......Lost to a little Ford Mustang II....a racer from Ohio......Man did we have fun back then !!!!!
