Dave,

Unfortunately alot of tracks have started to do this because of the not so honest people that were taking advantage of them. People (SEVERAL) would come in and just pay for Saturday but stay all weekend. Most places here tell you how much refund you will get on the way out of the gate if you don't stay for Sunday. This in no way excuses someone from being rude to you but hope it helps understand a track operators stance.
