You can do anything you want to as long as its with in the law!!!!!!!! On your (private time) is that what your saying???? ..... I agree, but when you drink and drive nowdays,( was he thinking,) say look at me, they wont get me,im the prez. Of NHRA. they cant do anything to me.. If that was what he was thinking? Then we have a problem!!! HE IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW.....

1.Did he jump thought all of the hoops after the DUI??
2. What was his blood alcohol level??
3.Was he on any thing else???

As NHRA members do we get those answers??? NHRA wants to know all about our lives!!!

.im surprised that you race at all coming from the land of the whackos out there.........
(whats good for the goose is good for the gander)
ya ok, it is good for all of us,but from the top to the bottom...
End of story..........

Unfortunately he got a DUI...not a smart move. Did I say he was above the law? Nope and I hope he had to live within the rules of the situation. I do not condone driving and drinking, I think people are stupid to drive after even one beer. I believe it was an embarassment to an organization that is "dedicated to safety". I also believe that his DUI has no more bearing on the members of the organization than the guy pitted next to us or a Safety Safari worker with a DUI on his driving record. Last I checked we weren't required to divulge any of this stuff to NHRA either. But what do I know...I live in the land of the whackos.
