Lenght is a state by state deal. Florida has a $15 yearly permit up to 95 ft, and North Carolina has extended lenght thing passed last year or so. Years ago we transported cars from Michigan and the lenght limit then was 60', but that was then. There is an exemption for the money deal in Section 390 of the DOT manual. On that note I got a refusal from N. Carolina today on a deal. North Carolina is the worst in the nation. Charlie, see if someone knows the lenght thing in MI. If not, I can find it, but probably not till Monday or so. Let me know.
