I got a ticket today in Ok. for going by scale, in my one ton pickup pulling 26 ft. trailer, They said any truck over 10,000 pounds has to stop in scale, But my truck has 10,000 pounds plates, but the Gvw is 11,800, on my truck, so i have to stop, but their scale sign did not say this. fine $150.00, also said you need DOT # on your truck, which i have, plus i need bill of lading, listing what in trailer,race car, tools, gas, tire`s, New federal law if you haul cars, you have to have 1,000,000.00 Liability insurance because you are hauling gas, I have this, but this may be only apply to people with ICC authority; semi car hauler.
