Re: Live from the Atco Doubleheader-NHRA Lucas Oil Series
Last night they did pull the plug before SuperGas made their run and those racers are simply in shock - why - they can't believe that this morning they'll still get their run as we're going to pick-up right where we left off last night .
Since SuperGas got deleted last night "Uncle Buck" and his group got cookin' and did they have a crowd in no time flat . BTW- they had a grilled/smoked ribeye deal that was fabulous - Ron (aka "Uncle Buck") out did himself with that dish .I wanted to take pictures but we all know those SuperGas guys are camera shy .
Congrats to Mr. Massel - long ride - long season - great ending .And he went out the gate last night after completing what he came here to do .
Next time any of you run into Marc LeBreque of Diamond RV ask him how you can get cable in your coach - he has the answer . His answer may take a few minutes so be prepared .
We start early again this morning -- 9am sharp if the weather holds out - at the moment its overcast but with mild temps - all that go fast air has disappeared and we're back from cloud nine .
One last thing -Kudos should go out to the Joe Sway /Atco team along with Bob Langs' NHRA staff -- even with the bad weather - crashes - oildowns and the fact that we're doing a double there is a good possibility we could finish today - well done boys ..........so far very well done .
They just announced that the Stock ladder posted last night is junk and a new one is posted .In the backround I can hear Anthony Fetch cheering as he was to have another heads-up first thing this morning - maybe he should go buy a lottery ticket this day .
I hear the Jet -- we all know what that means .......later .
