I said the hood lifted off ..

because it had the hood off in the pits

the rest I was not sure about .. admit I didn't look at it all that close ,,
only had about a hour to dash thru the pits and take a few pics

I was more interested in the car itself,and the fact that it was single 4 bbl , etc running in a ss class and how that car was able to fit the rules

There were no frost plugs in the front of the heads IIRC .. also another indicator to me the heads were alum and I did see what to me looked like Alum heads, am I positive, no as said before i am not

If you look back you will see on most of my obeseravations , I entered a disclaimer

I will say in my mind, the fact that ,,that car can run "S/S" -"GT" regardless --To me seems to bend the rules

And again , I'm no expert on the rules of what is or isn't on these cars
Just based on what I've been told and seen over the years
