And, should it turn out to actually BE true, why would anyone want to put fuel injection on his Pro Stocker and give away horsepower to the carbureted car in the other lane???

Warren Johnson once explained that he wanted injection primarily so he could run a smaller hood scoop and have better aerodynamics.
