In a great race, Dan Lattimore becomes the inagural S/SS Gamblers Champion. Never seen two racers go so hard after electing to split the purse at $80 each, LOL. Anderson won $20.
It was a great weekend weather wise (sunny both days, low 60's Saturday, low 70's Sunday). Hope everyone had as good a time as I did. Hoping to have an expanded schedule of races in 2010 (tracks permitting). See you all next year. Have a safe and great off season!
Mike, Wendy and Gary Carr
P.S. For all the Stocker racers that think they are at a disadvantage in S/SS Combo races, racing against faster cars with transbrakes and auto-shifters, since 1995, in 18 races at Hagerstown, Stockers have taken 22 of the 34 final round spots and 10 of the 17 wins (1997 was totally washed out). Not counting all the other S/SS races I've been a part of since 1995, in which Stockers have ruled the majority of the time. Just saying, it can be done. :~)
