Bob Gipson had a 65 Chevelle that he ran with a 283 220 hp ,327 250 hp (this had double hump heads) and even put the 327 350 hp in it. The 350 hp is not nearly as good of a combo as the other 2. I did see a 65 Chevelle 396 in C/Stick in Florida. Pretty Cool, but not the easiest deal. Bob Gipson's Chevelle is now in Nova Scotia owned and raced by Jody Noble with a 327 250 hp stick combo. Great car and always raced with a stick.
