These races have become big financial risks due to shrinking car caounts and escalating sanction fees. SGMP has chosen not to risk the money even though theu really wanted the event and I would think Bristol made a similar decision.

Too bad that the "hidden costs" are keeping LODRS events away from some of the best facilities.

IHRA has a Nitro-Jam and 4 Pro-Ams in Florida though....just food for thought.
The last Pro-am I was at (2008) in Immokalee, FL had two Pro-Ams and Sportsnational all in one weekend. I think there were less than 24 cars in Stock or S/Stock.
Payouts are about the same as NHRA races but a lot less sitting around.
