Dragway 42 is my "home track" its about 20 minutes from the house.....The funny thing about 42 is people complain, its a dustbowl, the left lane, well if youve driven it you know.
My son still wants PROOF they ran National top fuel events there
But I love it...My dream would be to buy the place and build it back into a nice midrange track...
We have a ball, dust and all...alebit a pain to clean from the rails....a big pain....nothing a sprayer and the used oil tank wouldnt fix
Most of the tracks were beautiful once.....$$$$ is the klinker.
Look at Norwalk then/now.....
