What do you mean cars that wheel stand? Only carbureted engines not injected is this what you are referring too. What about adding a set of merge collectors does anyone have data? I have heard the fuel ratio going < L > L both ways. Also I have heard that there is no perfect a/f ratio. You should tune until max hp, mph, et. if it starts falling off go back. Rich or lean whatever the car likes. I agree to start with a good baseline 12.8 - 13.2/1 tune up or down and as long as you’re not detonating read the plugs with a good magnifying glass to see evidence of metal transfer.
