If IHRA takes some of the money they are paying for the "show" and increase the purse to about $10,000 for the winner of each sportsman class and pay a decent amount from the winners purse back, they will get more cars than they know what to do with. Especially if this was a cash purse and you didn't have to wait around on contingency payments.

[I] did not see much wrong with the contingency . They posted a fresh sheet at the tech trailer on friday afternoon. Steve Furr wonn about 10 grand in super rod sat for his win . , why don't you try going sometimes ,after all that is what makes it grow. Poor car count is due to racers not coming , don't get me wrong i know it needs to be better, but how do you think it is going to get better if you don't show your support . Sorry you are not happy. Now ,go ahead and let me have it now. I can take it.
