However, the Speedworld NO was a grade point event, but I'm not too surprised that it only got 9 cars for the Stock/Super Stock Combo...if an event is going to cost $165.00, then it should offer more than just a Grade Point & Wally trophy! Sorry but on my budget I can't see the logic behind paying more for a NO, when in Div. 5 they only charge $100.00 for the same type of race (heck their Divisionals are cheaper @ $150.00)!!! Moreover, Div. 6 only charges $125.00 for their NO's! Why does Div. 7 charge the same for a NO that they charge for a divisional? What's kind of funny is knowing (because I was there with my car) that Firebird International Raceway had 4 stockers, and 1 super stocker there for their Friday Night Grudge Drags...it only cost us $20 bucks, and I enjoyed five passes down the 1/4...thus I feel a whole lot better than the first rnd runner-ups did at that NO...who paid $145 bucks more and probably got less runs down the track than I....

for them, but

for me!
The 'Vegas race should've been touted as a NO, due to it's entry fee of $165 bucks :O (and running the Stock/Super Stock Combo, plus Super Comp, Super Gas, Top Dragster & Top Sportsman), but Div 7 only shows Speedworld, Sacramento, and Fontana as true NO events.
I won't attend any NO's (or events like 'Vegas) out here (Div. 7), because for that kind of money, they should at least offer the kind of purse that Div. 1 offered late last year $87,000 total postings of cash for the whole event (for just $5 bucks more than out here, and it was a NO)!!! I'll spend my $165 on a divisional, where not only will I get a grade point, and race for a Wally, but I'll also get divisional/national championship chasing points, and a larger cash/contingency purse to pursue as well...much more bang for my meager dollars!!! That's my .02
