I believe you were going to turbo the 5.7 for your 72 Challenger? If you plan on leaving the engine stock and are okay to run 6-8 psi of boost, read no further......
Depends on your camshaft selection and the amount of boost, you may want to get rid of the wasted spark. If there is any unburnt fuel left in the chamber when the exhaust valve opens as the waste spark fires, it'll look like someone took a cutting torch to the exhaust valves. Don't ask me how I know..... To play it safe, get yourself some 6.1 coil packs, 6.1 coil pack plug ends and 6.1 valve covers. Cut the 5.7 coil pack plug ends off and wire in the 6.1's and you'll be good to go.
