Carb is the same size.
Cam is a touch larger on the 396/375.

It was still 425HP and then GM reduced it to 375 "playing the game".
Insurance and sanctioning body game that is.
If I had a nickel for every chebbie friend I had as a kid that owned a 396/375 anything and bragged about how it is really a 425 HP I would be a wealthy man.
