I have the S&W stuff on my bracket car now but had a short one on it with the plate that bolts up into the driveshaft tunnel before. I really did not see much difference other than weight and maybe a sight difference in how high it carrries the front end. Just make sure you check the bolts holding it to the rear on a regular basis no matter which one you choose and a little locktite is not a bad idea either. As far as legality in stocker dont they just have to bolt up to the rear end the same way? I thought you could use the aftermarket arms that dont hook to the tailshaft as S&W advertises them as legal. Can anybody confirm this as my rulebook is not with me at the moment.
