I don't think anyone is saying change NHRA rules in class to mirror what Pinks is doing. They are just saying have a stock / super stock event at a Pinks show to help showcase the people that make up the entry level of professional drag racing.

The more people that are interested in drag racing, the better chance we all have at making this a family gig where our kids and grandkids can have the same fun as we are. If NHRA can't get fans to the track, they can't get money. That means we the racers have to make that up with entry fees, which drives the racers away. Once it gets to where the general public is not interested and the racers are staying home, NHRA will simply cut races because there is no money in it.
