I make it an odd habbit NOT to wish people happy birthday unless I know how they will take it (some dont take it well) but since you seem in good spirits and not acting like a woman about it......(and some guys are like that too about birthdays)......then the next part of the odd habbit is I only wish them happy birthday if I know it will be found obnoxious and annoying, but in your case Ill mae an exception
