Default Re: Motor Home & trailer Size

George,
Just about everyone with a motor home is overlength. The big question is: DO the overlength laws apply or are they applied to non-Commercial enterprise??
They could stop 80% of the racers with motor homes but the AARP Lobby is strong and you "shouldn't mess with Grandpa and Grandma!".

Any motor home would benefit, as far as protecting it from damages, by using a Trailer Toad. The Trailer Toad is not cheap, but fixing a separated sidewall, broken slide-out support or loose floor costs a lot more than a Trailer Toad.

I know they are not for everyone but if you consider your investment in your motor home substantial, Trailer Toad is your best investment to protect it. Even the older used Trailer Toads are selling for $2400 to $2600 so compared to other racing equipment, they are an excellent value that really works. Free shipping in April 2010.

Good luck with your towing and racing in 2010.
