You need to add to the sprag/spragless that in most cases you will lose ET/MPH in the 1/4 with a spragless converter. When the turbine approaches close to the pump speed, the stator wants to unlock and can't. Reliability and consistency, spragless. Maximum performance in most cases, sprag or MD.

On the MD note,I am curious. Have you used any of the newer double element diodes and what reliability have you seen if so?
