Well see....we have 2 final changeups to try to squeeze the most out of the 5.7 we think we can. 1 will probably be at testing after Norwalk probably 42 the following Tue if the weather allows, and the other may be too at the same session if I can spin my wrenches fast enough. Or at Indy who knows.

Then well tear down and inspect, after Indy and lather rinse repeat.......yeah I know a stocker isnt meant to be tore down this often but hey I gotta learn and I rather see what is and what isnt working before it goes arwy and time I have.

Dad and Mandie have been monster helping this week with me having other responsibilities and dealing with my middle movment shrieks of pain from a back injury that is somewhat reminiscent of something from a 50's mental ward movie or someone with Tourettes syndrome. Chiro again tommorow....well see, I think theyre snakeoil salesmen but at this point , well I dont have much choice short of narcotics which make me puke and then I wont be able to drive and forget bolts and well all kinds of bad things will happen........ so for right now Im walking around periodically shrieking like a wounded hyena.

Where is Marlin Perkins to Narrate Video from the Shop when you need him......were starting a webcast next week of Day to Day at the shop if all goes well......

I can hear it now ......"Here is a drooze in his natural habitat, notice the carefully strewn but primitive tools, notice , AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAEEEEE.. ..that folks is the sound from a drooze injured by his sole purpose for life, a Dodge Drag Pak"............
I thought the screaming sound was me in the corner from the state of organization in the shop (more like lack thereof).

The discovery of the air ratchet and my pocket 'o treasures (sockets) really helped speed the removal of the truck's engine last week. That's my point of view though, perhaps I'm biased because it was my idea to keep all the sockets we needed in one convenient and nearby spot; my apron pocket. It was almost like magic every time I produced the right size socket. Really, you should've seen their eyes light up!

Here's to hoping we actually get to Norwalk in time and working order, and that next week I can maybe drive for my 1st time at 42!

Also, Jimmy B, we're rooting for you to get there too!
