Ran the stock A/C assembly because of a hoop scoop, but always thought that OEM would mean what came on the car with that silly little tube with the exhaust stove top warmer snorkel assembly on most cars. Why run an air cleaner ? Im serious ? If your air cleaner and snorkel are creating a retriction, the rules say Air Cleaner Optional .... Why run one at all ? Temperature ? I mean ? They are race cars ,,,,, Am I missing something here ?
And I ask that in all honesty......what am I missing ?
