(As I understand it, for 2 or more cars, this 1/2 second under was not required, if the winner of a pair was 1 tenth under, and the 2nd car was slower, or redlite, that was acceptable).

Now with the lower indexes, is this 5 tenth under rule over with (on a single), or does a car need to run 8 tenths under the old indexes? Anybody "won" class on a single at less than 5 tenths under at a NHRA National event in 2010 yet? The NHRA website doesn`t seem to have any info on this issue.
Travis or somebody may post something more authoratative and I seem to remember anything under the index wins a single car class but if you look at Bristol's class winners there were several singles for class that couldn't run under by very much. Bristol in the summer can be really slow.
