track official said and i quote,
"Chaney was the forth or fifth set in line that was going to race John"
There were 44 cars in that event, that means 22 pairs. Probably would take at least half an hour to forty five minutes to run that many cars. Why was Chaney in the front of the line? That means 17 or 18 pairs of cars after Chaney ran?
Awe come on, give the guy a chance. That is horrible
I dont think anyone can defend that people!!!! At the very least it should have been a rerun. Anything could have happened to delay John a bit, but It sound like Chaney was awefully eager to get to the front of the line.
You dont run single runs in the front! unless the guy breaks in the box or something. Awful, Awful, Awful.
