Re: "Live" from Norwalk
Norwalk was a blast-we were pitted just down the road from Dilcher and Gino and Drooze and Marshall and Parker, so it was good was good to see them all. Scott McClay was there so I got to meet Drooze's dad and Keith Lynch and Jerry Silveus through him. I guess all the PC training we get here on campus prevented this old dirty old man from going up and introducing himself to Mandi.
It was hot and wet on Sunday, so all the comp cars could race all out without worrying about bashing their indexes. My car went to the semis before we lost to Brian Browell, but then Al took out Brian in the final. That was a great race. But as great as the race was for our team, I agree with Alan Reinhart in his post on Nitromater.com that Ben Wenzel's win was the coolest thing that happened in Norwalk.
