That big money guy has been dumping those cars. That car was sold to another privateer for over 2/3's less than what he paid. Evidently the second owner was more in tune to what it was worth.
The collection he was building was full of "magazine" cars. Drag, show, street rod etc. His net worth of over $800 million allowed him any car he wanted. He's moved on to bigger and better things. He made some people alot of money, and cost the rest of a chance at owning more of these type cars.
