The difference between a ProTrans and a beefed up stock heavy 727 is a bunch. Whether or not it is where you need to spend your money right now is another matter. If your engine program isn't maxed out, and/or the rest of the car is not up to par, you may gain more spending that money somewhere else. It's hard to say without knowing a lot more about your program.

I prefer ATI converters, but that's just my opinion.
