i don't know about "bump steer kits", but it seems a little ridiculous that some tech guy/ wanna be cop, says they are ilegal, when most late-model f-bodies use a pinto rack. the pinto rack, having been approved for stock way back when there was also the '98 LT-1 thing and the narrowed rear. too late to change now. those were all factory pontiac things, just like the stuff ford and mopar are pushing with the cobra jet and drag pack.
