Thank you Kayla, and to all who made it out there, under somewhat threatening conditions.
Firebird got rained out, I was told. We never had a drop.

Yes, we had a problem with the computer not being in eliminations mode. Between the small field, the red lights, and the broke byes, we weren't really sure what was going on until we ran the second round.
The track owner said it would be their policy to rerun the whole thing from the beginning.
Some of the racers weren't too keen on that idea at 2 o'clock in the morning.

I decided to take a vote for refunding everyone's money and folding up and the majority won out ,so that's what I did.

I know exactly what the problem was and I guarantee it won't ever happen again. It's just one more thing I'll have to check personally, and I will add it to my list.
Again, thanks to everyone and also to Don Kennedy for running the whole S/SS deal for me. (I hope I can mention his name on this forum ;-)
