Default Re: considering class a rv for towing

You will be fine, I have over over 150,000 miles of towing between 2 diff motorhomes with an enclosed 24' trailer.

my suggestions are

travel as lightly as possible, don't take stuff you don't need

Get the shortest motorhome with the longest wheelbase you can find

Look at the motorhome construction, especially the frame behind the axle

Pay the most attention to the tires and the transmission in the motorhome, they are the things that will give the most trouble on the road. Check tire pressures every trip and service the trans regularly

Ask questions here if you see a coach you are considering.
