I found that when I stalled at 2000 I could still hold the car, this was with a old and likely "not functioning very well " convertor..I have since replaced it with a Hughes Pro-Stree unit that stalls at approx 3000..it will be interesting to see how the car reacts. It is a heavy car 3900 lbs 468 BBC

So, I guess that the theory is if you are footbraking at 2000 and the convertor is 3000 than it takes "less time" to go from 2000-3000 than 1000-3000?
