Ralph Popora has both his 69 Camaro and his 66 Corvette for sale (not sure what he's doing, but it's pretty interesting that they went up for sale a week after the screwing that was Indy ). That's just a couple of people I can think of right now. And you think this is good for the sport. What a surprise.

There are a lot of other cars either parked or for sale, and their owners either sitting it out, or getting out completely. These are the people who helped build these classes. This is how NHRA thanks them, by forcing them out. And you cheer NHRA on. Go figure.

The fact of the matter is, the only truly new people these new cars bring in will be gone as soon as the insurmountable advantage is gone. Most of them would not have built a car if it didn't have such an advantage. Some kind of advantage would be 1-2 tenths over the average traditional car. Not 4-5 tenths over the best traditional cars, out of the box, in bracket mode.

We can see who the clown is here. Only no one is laughing at you, yet. Most of them are just shaking their head.
Amen.

Thank you Alan. Well put!.
