You guys are assuming that there hasn't been any R&D done on these cars but you couldn't be further from the truth. Did you honestly beleive that a magic fairy appeared and instantly made these cars fast? The horsepower factors have contributed to the cars going fast but there is more to it than that. If The people buying these cars and the oems have the money don't you think they have access to the same companies that make the products in your race car? You might be surprised at the list of racers who have contributed to the success of these cars.
