Default Re: "Live From" the NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals.

"The definition of insanity..." I've been to Atco with the Turismo twice, won first round each time, then had it rescheduled for a time I couldn't make it back. Well, there goes all *that* entry fee money. How's that go, "Fool me twice, and you won't get fooled again?" Glad I'm not at the Grove. My last National there was the Keystones when Hurricane Floyd blew through. Everyone became well acquainted with The Mall, and even better we were told quite bluntly, "When you lose, LEAVE." Love Maple Grove. Love Atco. Don't love the experience received after any chance of inclement weather.

I'm going to Virginia Motorsports Park next weekend. Anybody not going to the Atco re-run is more than welcome.... 2-Day national event, pay at the gate ($200 entry, including the insurance schtuff), even get your license and membership at the track if need be, Sportsman are on-track Saturday 9am-6pm with no interruption from the Pros (2 Qualifying runs and 1st Round). Sunday, no Pros at all, start at 10:30 am, Rnd 2 through the end, probably done by 3pm. Get home at a decent hour. Win the race and you qualify for next year's Tournament of Champions (free entry, 5-6 round race for $10K to win + contingency)

Best of luck, y'all.
