Re: Head and Neck systems
I know its not a popular decision or remark, but I'm surprised that NHRA hasnt already done something about making it manditory in some cases...
I can tell you, that taking a direct hit at anything over about 30-40 MPH is a HARD hit...I took a t-bone hit in the drivers side a couple of years ago and it rung my bell pretty good, and an almost head on into the wall at Atco this year going fast (not too far after the finish line) and my neck was really really sore for a while...
Anyone going over 140-150 in chassis car really ought to be thinking about it, and like some others I can speak from experience...
And please, please, put GOOD padding on your cage, anywhere you even DREAM your head can hit !!!!!!!!!!!! None of that cheap pipe padding !!!!!
