Ronnie Sox was to banging gears what Jimi Hendrix was to guitar playing; in fact, both of them were doing their thing during the same time period. Yes, there are/were other great 4-speed drivers but there was only one Ronnie (and Jimi).

The first time I saw Ronnie race was at the 1973 Summernationals; unfortunately by then most of the Pro Stockers had Lencos in them.
