I don't know about the math wiz part (although I was correct in figuring Dallas to move up 7 spots). However, there's a good news/bad news deal for Tony in S/S, and Slate in Stock. The good news is that they both paid for their trips, with their Wins!!! The bad however, is neither of them could count the points they earned towards their championship counts, because this was beyond their 6th possible national event. That said, momentum is on their sides for the upcoming divisional.
I wish this wknds race could be televised, because there are several players in both classes who have a shot at No. 1, and I think that this wknds divisional will decide the national championship winners in both Super Stock & Stock. Sorry Floyd, but although Leo can still improve at both of these last two races, he's going to have several people that will love to rain on his parade, and he won't be able to avoid all of them.
In Super Stock, it's going to be a five horse race between Ryan, Lincoln, Tony, Sal, and Bryan, with Lincoln having the edge since he can improve on a 72pt national event race @ Pomona.
In Stock, there's nine horses in their race who can take the top spot (From Brad, down to Leo), and although Leo has the advantage having 2 more races he can improve on, he needs a lot of round wins to catch/overtake Brad, and there's too many others in the way who can keep him from doing that? Momentum is on Slates side, but with Edmund, Dallas, Jody, and even Brad there (amongst one or two others), it's going to be an uphill battle for him (Leo that is)???
This is going to be a great race to read up on!!!!
