I have heard it takes 150 hp more than the factored hp to get a car to run under the index. If so, that 3v needs to make 385 hp at the crank. Seems do-able....maybe ?

It definitely would not take 385 hp to run under the index. Usually 1.5x the rated horsepower will make a really fast car.
