OK now to the responses -
1) "underrated V10" - name any engine that does not make a lot more HP than it is rated and I will show you an uncompetitive engine
2) "waste of money" - its my f-ing money
3) "built in roll control" - not going to have it (no trans-brakes in stock) for those of you that do not read the rules
4) a stock (oh there is that word) Viper has an oil pan capacity of between 8.5 to 10 quarts depending on the year and model (do your homework)
Finally - I am not by any stretch of the imagination - rich. I have a very fast older car. I have just decided to go for the gusto - one last time. I do not make the rules but I have spent a lot of time trying to take advantage of everything that NHRA allowed. Why should this be any different as I approach the twilight of my life.
NHRA will make the necessary corrections over time.

I'd love to own a V10 powered car, just love the sound of a V8 better cause that's what I grew up with. Just finished up with a Slant 6, 11 second Duster build....A Slant 6 will away's sound like the Red Barron during a dive bomb, they always have, they always will, but this Duster makes us proud.
